Documenting Your Teaching: Teaching Statement Sprint

February 22, 2017
11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Butler Library Room 212

Register here.

This workshop offers graduate students a hands-on opportunity to prepare a teaching statement for the academic job market. In this session, participants get an introduction to elements of a strong teaching statement, and then engage in activities designed to kick-start the writing process of a draft or revision of their own statements. Participants share full drafts of their statements, offer each other feedback and suggestions, and further refine their statements.

Documenting Your Teaching is a set of workshops that focus on ways to gather real evidence of your teaching life. Snacks and refreshments will be offered to registered participants.
