Adjusted Office Hours through September
To address the increased demand from the Columbia teaching community for support, specifically due to the Canvas migration, the Center for Teaching and Learning is holding expanded office hours through the end of September. Our staff is available for walk-in and call-in support on the following days:
- Mondays: 1:00 pm–5:00 pm
- Tuesdays: 9:00 am–1:00 pm
- Wednesdays: 1:00 pm–5:00 pm
- Thursdays: 1:00 pm–5:00 pm
- Fridays: 10:00 am–2:00 pm
Stop by Butler Library Room 212 (Consultation Room 1) or call 212 854-9058. The CTL will resume its standard schedule for office hours on Monday, October 2.
The CTL offers a wide range of free services to help members of the Columbia teaching community become more reflective and effective instructors. During office hours, faculty, graduate students, postdocs, and staff can receive support for course design, curriculum planning, assignment development, learning activities and teaching approaches, and using a range of instructional technologies and tools. The office will be closed on Wednesday, September 20, until 3:00 p.m. due to a CTL Open House event on the Medical Center campus. Stop by!
