CUIT Zoom Training and Recordings

Self-Paced Course: Intro to CourseWorks 

This self-paced course provides an overview of the basic features and functionality of CourseWorks, guides users through setting up their course site, and presents the CourseWorks tools and features that can help provide an enriching learning experience for students.

Self-Paced Course: Assessment and Grading in CourseWorks

This self-paced course provides an advanced take on the assessment and grading tools in CourseWorks, which are introduced in Introduction to CourseWorks (Canvas) Online. Throughout the course, you will learn the what, why, and how of effective assessment and grading practices to support teaching and learning. You will be presented with learner-centered, inclusive, and research-based ways to use the tools within CourseWorks to create, organize, and grade various types of assessments of student learning.

Workshop: Teaching Online with CourseWorks (Coming Soon!)

Join us in exploring how to create community, support student engagement, and assess student learning in the online context using CourseWorks. This 90-minute workshop will give you an overview of the CourseWorks interface and highlight a toolset that will allow you to set up a course with clear expectations for students, create opportunities for a variety of assignment engagements, and nurture an environment that encourages a culture of inclusive communication.
