Discussion-into-Practice: Accessibility in Teaching and Learning

How do we make teaching and learning accessible to all students? How can you design learning experiences with all students in mind?

These are a few of the questions that we will explore in this reading and discussion group for faculty. At each gathering, faculty participants will discuss the literature and explore the topic of accessibility in the context of the teaching and learning environment.

Together, participants will reflect on their teaching, share strategies, and consider how the literature can inform their practices.  It’s not necessary to attend both gatherings. Please join us as your interests dictate and schedule allows. Lunch will be provided.

Dates: Thursday, October 31 & Thursday, November 7
Time: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Location: 212 Butler Library
