Facilitating Discussions in CourseWorks (Canvas): Effective Strategies for Engaging Classroom Conversation

During this 30-minute workshop, we will explore uses for discussion in the classroom with a primary focus on using the CourseWorks (Canvas) discussion tool to enrich face-to-face and online discussion. All participants will reflect on their use of online discussion and the potential applications for their teaching context.

This session is intended for faculty who have used the Canvas discussion tool or have participated in the CTL’s Introduction to CourseWorks (Canvas) in-person or online training course.

You are encouraged to bring your computer to participate in workshop activities that will take place in CourseWorks.
