Role Play and Inclusive Teaching: Concepts, Challenges, and Strategies

November 1, 2016
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Butler Library Room 212

A CTLgrads Learning Community series, focused on approaches to Inclusive Teaching through Role Play.

We know that making our classrooms more inclusive provides better learning outcomes overall, but how do we put an inclusive teaching philosophy into practice? Our three-part conversation kicked off on 10/28 in the wake of the CRLT Players “7 into 15” performance, when we reflected on issues the show raised. This session will consider concepts, research, and challenges related to implementing inclusive teaching. The series ends with a session focused on considering creative ways of incorporating role-playing in class to uncover, broaden, and deepen multiple perspectives.

You are welcome to register for this individual session, or join the whole series. Pizza available to registrants.
