Suzanna Klaf is Associate Director of Faculty Programs and Services at the CTL. Suzanna facilitates professional development services and guides the reflective practice of faculty, postdoctoral, adjunct, and other instructors at Columbia, through the design and implementation of pedagogical programs, consultations, and resources.

Prior to joining the CTL, Suzanna served as Director of the Center for Academic Excellence at Fairfield University, where she supported faculty professional development needs across disciplines in the Arts & Sciences and professional schools. She was also an affiliate faculty in the Department of Sociology & Anthropology, and taught interdisciplinary courses for the International Studies program at Fairfield University and for the Department of Geography at the Ohio State University.

Suzanna holds a Ph.D. in Geography – Urban & Regional Global Studies from The Ohio State University, an M.A. in Geography – Urban & Retail Planning from Binghamton University (SUNY), and a B.A. in Sociology and Geography – Urban & Regional Planning from Binghamton University (SUNY).
