Costis Maglaras, Dean and the David and Lyn Silfen Professor of Business at Columbia Business School, gave eight lectures to the incoming cohort of MBA students in a HyFlex modality during the Fall 2020 semester. Professor Maglaras shares his experience and perspective of teaching in this modality in the video below:

 Michelle Yao, a junior at Columbia College and CTL Student as Pedagogical Partner, writes about how she maintained a workspace in her family’s home and created community online while taking classes remotely this past year. Michelle weighs the advantages and disadvantages of synchronous classes using Zoom, as well as asynchronous classes utilizing recorded video lectures and the forum Piazza.
