Cloris (she/her) is a Learning Designer at the CTL, where she works with CUIMC programs to create clear, engaging, and learner-centered educational experiences. She is especially drawn to moments when thoughtful structure, purposeful technology, and good design make teaching and learning feel more intuitive and supportive. In her collaborations with faculty and academic teams, she focuses on accessibility, learning science, and practical design solutions.
Before joining the CTL, Cloris served as an Instructional Designer at the CUNY School of Professional Studies, supporting online course development, LMS integrations, and instructional technology consultations. She also contributed to digital media and design initiatives at Teachers College. Cloris holds an M.A. in Instructional Technology and Media from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a B.S. in Early Childhood and Special Education with a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies from New York University.
Outside of work, Cloris enjoys exploring new places with her two dogs, and hiking, dog parks, and road trips are regular weekend rituals. Her love for animals also extends to her volunteer work with Best Friends Animal Society. Beyond these adventures, she enjoys discovering new restaurants and often unwinds through hands-on hobbies such as LEGOs, puzzles, and ceramics.
