TDP Preparing to Teach: Material Prep Bootcamp

In order to successfully complete a track in the Teaching Development Program (TDP), participants need to generate and annotate two important documents: a policy sheet and first day plan. This bootcamp helps participants create these documents in a supportive environment.

Highlights of this bootcamp include:

  • An introduction to the purpose and structure of policy sheets and first day of class plan
  • An opportunity to see and discuss exemplary sample materials
  • Dedicated time for active drafting one or both documents
  • A supportive environment for receiving constructive feedback from peers and CTL staff

This offering supports completion of the Preparing to Teach requirement in the Teaching Development Program, and also satisfies a Pedagogy Workshop requirement.

Date: Wednesday May 14
Time: 10:10 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: 212 Butler Library
