Office Hours for Faculty

Virtual Office Hours
CTL staff hold Office Hours to help faculty with questions related to teaching and educational technologies supported at Columbia.

Office hours are held via phone and Zoom. To join the Zoom room you must be logged into your Columbia Zoom account. For instructions please see CUIT’s Zoom Sign In information. If you are already logged in, please click the relevant Zoom link below.

Walk-in Office Hours
Visit us in person! Faculty are invited to Walk-in Office Hours with a CTL learning designer.

Days: Tuesday, January 20 – Thursday, January 22   /   Monday, January 26 – Thursday, January 29  /   Monday, February 2 – Thursday, February 5
Time: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: 212 Butler Library

Office Hours for Graduate Students

CTLgrads live office hours
CTL offers recurring office hours for graduate students to consult with us about maintaining an inclusive and supportive learning environment, any other aspect of teaching, CTL fellowships and other offerings, job market preparation, or making progress in the Teaching Development Program. No appointment is needed. Office hours for graduate students: Times and locations are listed here.

Individual consultations
Students unable to drop by office hours are invited to request an individual consultation (consultation request link) or send questions to the CTL graduate student support team at CTLgrads@columbia.edu.

For help with CourseWorks, Zoom, and other learning tools supported by CTL, graduate students are invited to reach out to CTL Learning Designers:
