Showcasing Your Development with the TDP

The Teaching Development Program (TDP) is a great way for doctoral students to document and articulate their teaching development at Columbia. CTL certifies completion of Foundational and Advanced tracks, and track completion is noted on Columbia transcripts.

This session is for current and prospective participants in the TDP who are interested in learning more about the program, mapping out strategies for track completion, setting up or filling in TDP digital teaching portfolios, and/or more strategically highlighting teaching development within job searches. Students currently in the TDP program as well as those thinking about jumping in are invited to join us. A light lunch will be available to registrants.

Date: Friday, January 31
Time: 12:10 PM – 1:25 PM
Location: 203 Butler Library

Essentials of Teaching and Learning

Essentials of Teaching and Learning workshops offer new or developing graduate student instructors approaches to better facilitate student learning and improve teaching practices. Join us at any one of these foundational workshops to deepen insight that you have started to develop at teaching orientations or in early teaching experiences. Attending this workshop and posting reflections satisfies a Foundational Track requirement for participants in the Teaching Development Program (TDP).

Upcoming Essentials Workshop: Creating Inclusive Learning Environments
