The Innovative Teaching Summer Institute is a four-day series of workshops, discussions, and shared reflections all centered on the use of emerging teaching practices and technologies to support effective teaching. ITSI is an opportunity for graduate student instructors to work with peers from a variety of disciplines, discuss pedagogical priorities, connect with resources and support, and develop themselves as innovative teachers.
The 2017 Institute will be held on Monday, June 12 – Thursday, June 15 at the Diana Center on the Barnard College campus. This program is open to anyone at Columbia who teaches digital skills as a central or secondary focus. Faculty, staff, and graduate students who lead or assist with courses, bootcamps, and technical training are all encouraged to apply. Applications are due Monday, April 24, 2017.
