Zachary Domach

Zach (he/him) is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Religion and a Senior Teaching Consultant with the CTL. He has been an instructor of record at Union Theological Seminary and Columbia’s Center for the Core Curriculum. Along the way, he has facilitated workshops and seminars (Assessing Teaching and Learning, Assumptions and Inclusivity, Teaching Statement Online, Learning by Observing, and Peer-To-Peer Interaction), held several fellowships (Teaching Observation Fellowship, Teaching Assessment Fellowship, and Senior Fellowship), and completed various intensive seminars (Inclusive Teaching and Reflective Teaching) and programs (Teaching Development Program, Core Curriculum Peer Observation Program, and Innovative Summer Teaching Institute). In 2020, Zach received the Preceptor Award for Teaching Excellence and in 2021 he published a chapter on conducting successful teaching observations in Teaching Gradually: Practical Pedagogy for Graduate Students, by Graduate Students.
