New Self-Paced, Online Training Course: Assessment and Grading in CourseWorks (Canvas)
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) has launched a new self-paced, online training course on assessment and grading with the learning management system CourseWorks (Canvas). The course is free and open to all members of the Columbia community.

CTL Project Highlights: April 2018
The past month’s milestones involved a new tool that helps social workers map clients’ social support networks, developed by faculty from the Columbia School of Social Work; a website that provides legal resources for New York judicial case decisions, developed by faculty at the Columbia Law School; the launch of two new MOOCs from ICAP at Columbia; and the relaunch of the popular Global Muckraking MOOC.
Call for Applications: Innovative Teaching Summer Institute
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is currently accepting applications from Columbia doctoral students for the 2018 Innovative Teaching Summer Institute (ITSI). ITSI is a four-day series of collaborative workshops, discussions, and shared reflections – all centered on the effective use of emerging teaching practices and technologies.
