This Week for Graduate Students: Last week to apply for CTL Fellowships!

by | Jun 21, 2021

CTL is accepting applications for the Teaching Assessment Fellowship (TAF) and Teaching Observation Fellowship (TOF) now through June 28th.

TAFs and TOFs are both awarded a $2000 stipend for a series of activities across the academic year. Columbia doctoral students who have successfully completed the CTL’s Essentials of Teaching and Learning workshop series, a CTL seminar or institute, and/or a CTL fellowship are eligible for both programs. Read more details below.

Teaching Assessment Fellows

Teaching Assessment Fellows (TAFs) are Columbia University doctoral students who work closely with the Center for Teaching and Learning, faculty, and each other during the academic year to support and assess teaching initiatives. This fellowship is designed for graduate students who have particular interest in learning about methodologies and strategies for assessing course redesign efforts.

Interested to apply? Join us for an informational Q&A session on Tuesday, June 22 from 10:00-11:00 AM to learn more and hear from past Fellows about their experiences. Register to receive a Zoom link to join.

Teaching Observation Fellows

Teaching Observation Fellows are Columbia University doctoral students who work closely with the Center for Teaching and Learning and with each other on a range of supportive, formative, peer-to-peer teaching observation activities. This fellowship is designed for graduate students who are interested in building skills in teaching observation and peer mentorship, and inspired by interdisciplinary conversations about pedagogy.

Interested to apply? Join us for an informational Q&A session on Wednesday, June 23 from 3:00-4:00 PM to learn more and hear from past Fellows about their experiences. Register to receive a Zoom link to join.
