Fall 2018 Teaching Orientation for Graduate Students

Columbia’s Center for Teaching and Learning is holding teaching orientation sessions in August.

The CTL offers orientation sessions to learn about practical, evidence-based strategies that can be implemented on the first day of class. CTL orientations help supplement department-based orientations and trainings, connecting graduate students to campus support units, CTL resources, and experienced peers. These sessions are open to all new teaching assistants, teaching fellows, and graduate students in an instructor role.

As of now, registration for the orientation on Friday August 31 is full and a waitlist has been activated. We encourage you to register for the orientation on Thursday August 30.
