The Center for Teaching and Learning announces the opening of a DIY Media Production Space at CUIMC in our office in the 168th Street Armory.
Fall 2018 New Faculty Orientation to Teaching
At the start of each semester, the CTL provides Columbia faculty with an orientation that offers practical, evidence-based strategies faculty can implement on the first day of class, and introduces new faculty to the Columbia teaching culture. The orientation is open to all faculty, though it is especially useful for new or junior faculty in their first five years of teaching at Columbia.
Fall 2018 Teaching Orientation for Graduate Students
The CTL offers orientation sessions to learn about practical, evidence-based strategies that can be implemented on the first day of class. These sessions are open to all new teaching assistants, teaching fellows, and graduate students in an instructor role.
Introduction to CourseWorks (Canvas)
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is offering an introductory course on the learning management system CourseWorks (Canvas). The course is open to all members of the Columbia community.
