Spring 2023 Offerings

The CTL has a wide range of offerings to support faculty with a variety of teaching, learning, and mentoring needs. Not sure which offering is right for you? Reach out for assistance by contacting us at CTLfaculty@columbia.edu.

New tool to support student learning available in CourseWorks: QuizCon

You can now incorporate QuizCon into your CourseWorks courses as an alternative multiple choice quizzing tool. QuizCon allows students to indicate their level of confidence in their answers on a spectrum ranging from “very sure” to “I don’t know.” Students can more accurately reflect their understanding and potentially earn partial credit. To use QuizCon, enable it in the navigation tab of the settings section of your CourseWorks course.

For more information, visit the CTL’s website.

Additionally, you can reach out to the CTL directly at ColumbiaCTL@columbia.edu for one-on-one support with the tool.
